Chael Sonnen attempts to get re-licensed in front of the NSAC on April 27th

Former UFC middleweight contender, Chael Sonnen will get his chance to get relicensed in the state of Nevada when he appears in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011.

NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer confirmed the news, saying Sonnen’s appearance will likely make it onto the April 27th agenda. A five member team will decide whether to grant the Team Quest fighter both a fighter’s license and a second’s (cornerman’s) license. This could determine whether or not he will be a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show next season.

Sonnen will address the comments he made to the California State Athletic Commission during his appeal earlier this year where he practically stated that Keith Kizer had approved the use of testosterone in the past.
