Carlos Condit Suffers A Meniscus Tear As Well As A Possible ACL Tear

Former interim UFC welterweight champion, Carlos Condit has obtained a small meniscus tear as well as a possible ACL tear during last night’s UFC 171 co-main event second round TKO defeat at the hands of Tyron Woodley which could end up putting him out of action for a considerable amount of time.

Sources confirmed rumours of Condit’s initial diagnosis via text message following their visit to an area hospital following the fight, which took place at Dallas’ American Airlines Center. Condit will later undergo an MRI to confirm the extent of his injuries, Winkeljohn added.
