Brad Tavares vs. Dustin Jacoby Bumped to Main Pay-Per-View Slot on Oct. 29th

The middleweight bout between former TUF cast member, Brad Tavares and promotional newcomer, Dustin Jacoby has been bumped to the main card of the evening at UFC 137 in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 29th. UFC officials confirmed the switch today. It can be assumed that the higher profile bouts such as Donald Cerrone vs. Dennis Siver and Tyson Griffin vs. Bart Palaszewski could not be touched due to a commitment made with SPIKE TV.

Tavares suffered his first career defeat earlier this year when he was outclassed by powerhouse wrestler, Aaron Simpson. He went 7-0 as a pro before that defeat including wins over Phil Baroni and Seth Baczynski.

Jacoby turned pro less than a year ago but has quickly racked up six straight victories, all inside the distance and five via knockout. His most recent win came over M-1 Global veteran, Billy Horne in just 37-seconds via TKO.
