BJ Penn plans to “dabble” in the lightweight and welterweight division

Former UFC lightweight champion, BJ Penn explains that he is going to dabble in the 155 and 170 pound divisions after losing back-to-back fights inside the octagon to Frankie Edgar this year.

Penn, speaking via, said:

“I think that’s the best thing for me, to dabble. The best thing for me is to fight as many good fighters as there are out there. And there’s good fighters at 155 and there’s good fighters at 170. I just want to fight and be as active as I can. If I start getting… a lot of wins in one of those directions, then maybe I will look for a title shot.”

“I want to master this sport. I’m not there yet and I’m still trying to figure it out.”
