BJ Penn Accepts Rory MacDonald’s Challenge at UFC 152 in Toronto, Ontario

Former two-division UFC champion, BJ Penn has apparently made up his mind to come out of retirement and accepted the challenge of Canadian prospect, Rory MacDonald, a fight that would go down at the yet to be announced UFC 152 event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on September 22nd, 2012.

Penn, speaking via, said:

“Rory, I accept your challenge!”

MacDonald is riding a three-fight winning streak defeating the likes of Nate Diaz, Mike Pyle and Che Mills in very impressive fashion. His only loss, a very late TKO after dominating the first two rounds, came against the current UFC interim welterweight champion, Carlos Condit at UFC 115.

Penn has only one win in his last five bouts, a victory over Matt Hughes is his only one since December 2009, with losses coming to Frankie Edgar on two separate occasions, a draw with Jon Fitch and most recently, Nick Diaz.
