Bellator Fighting Championships 21 Official Results

In season one, Bellator lightweight Toby Imada was submitted by new champion Eddie Alvarez in the promotion’s debut tournament. In season two, Pat Curran, after defeating Roger Huerta, earned a surprising split decision over Toby Imada in the main event of Thursday’s Bellator 21 event in Hollywood, Fla., and will now face Eddie Alvarez for the belt in season three.

Considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound female fighter in the world, Japanese superstar Megumi Fujii did not disappoint in her U.S. television debut outclassing Sarah Schneider via TKO in the third round.

The evening’s first broadcast bout saw heavyweights Mike Hayes defeat Steve Banks via unianimous decision.
