Bellator Announces PPV Plans Headlined By Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler III

Last night it was announced Bellator MMA is looking to hold their first ever Pay-Per-View event on May 17th headlined by Eddie Alvarez and former champion, Michael Chandler.

Bellator had originally planned the PPV event to be on November 2nd of last year, headlined by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Tito Ortiz and featuring Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler II. However, when Ortiz went down to injury, that event was moved to Spike TV. Now, Bellator is making attempt number two.

Also last night at Bellator 110 both Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal made it to the light heavyweight tournament finals, making their involvement as the co-main event of the evening almost a certainty.
