Andrei Arlovski Out Til 2015 After Shoulder Surgery

Andrei Arlovski underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder last week, his manager Leo Khorolinsky told sources. Doctors have said that he’s looking at about six-to-eight weeks of recovery time. Which means he won’t be in the ring again until 2015 at the earliest.

Arlovski is a former UFC heavyweight champion and has won two bouts in a row since returning to the UFC from World Series of Fighting. He beat Brendan Schaub at UFC 174 in June and knocked out Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in impressive fashion last month in Brazil.
