Recently, Randy Couture got his very first tattoo, and the 46-year-old didn’t hold back on the ink, the new tatt features a fleur with a latin verse meaning “iron sharpens iron” covering his entire left forearm. Here’s a pic of The Natural’s new ink.
Couture is coming off back to back wins since returing to the light heavyweight division this past November, with wins over Brandon “The Truth” Vera and most recently fellow UFC Hall of Famer, Mark “The Hammer” Coleman.
According to Dana White, “The Natural” will next face off against fromer UFC middleweight champion, Rich “Ace” Franklin. The fight is rumored to take place either this June at UFC 115 in Vancouver, Canada or at a yet to be announced UFC event in August.
Muy bueno, me gusto
That a sick tat
but isnt the fluer a french thing?
Something religious, the quote “iron sharpens iron” is from Proverbs 27:17 – “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” and wiki had this to say: The three petals of the heraldic design reflect a widespread association with the Holy Trinity, with the band on the bottom symbolizing Mary. The tradition says that without Mary you can not understand the Trinity since it was she who bore The Son. a tradition going back to 14th century France, added onto the earlier belief that they also represented faith, wisdom and chivalry.
Uhhh, what do you think the origin of Couture is, if not ….french?
