UFC President, Dana White has confirmed that middleweight contender, Michael Bisping will face disciplinary action for his behaviour following his UFC 127 win over Jorge Rivera this past weekend in Sydney, Australia.
Dana confirmed the news but made no decision on whether the there will be a fined, suspension or both. Rivera’s management team filed a formal complaint against the fighter immediately following the fight.
Bisping had attempted to apologise for his actions, adding he had spat at the floor, something the replays failed to show. Rivera’s boxing coach Matt Phinney, who played the cameo role of Michael Bisping in a series of spoof videos prior to the fight actually got hit by the saliva.
