Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg Official Salaries, Injuries and Medical Suspensions

Strikeforce welterweight champion, Nick Diaz walked away with the biggest payout Saturday night following his successful defence of his welterweight title, earning $150,000 for his efforts. Second in the list came the other defending champion on the card, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza who picked up $85,000. Surprisingly the third highest was undefeated Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, Roger Gracie who earned $75,000.

The California State Athletic Commission has also today released the medical suspensions, with veteran middleweight, Robbie Lawler picking up the longest suspension out of the group.

“Ruthless” will be out for six months after a suspected fractured left foot. Other lengthy suspensions included undercarders Nate Moore – 180 days, Nathan Coy – 90 days, and Scott Carson – 45 days.
