4 Fights Added To Malaysian Invasion MMA Season 2 Grand Finale

KUALA LUMPUR: The biggest amateur mixed martial arts fighting competition in Asia, if not the world, the Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MIMMA), powered by Tune Talk, will once again tremble the grounds where the Stadium Negara stand with an epic finale to a year long search for the next big name in Malaysian MMA. Four pro fights have been confirmed that will surely add to the excitement of all mixed martial arts enthusiasts present at the venue.

The most decorated MMA fighter in South East Asia, Will Chope, lands himself in MIMMA where he called out The Voice of MIMMA, Matt Pellino in a catchweight bout in order to welcome Pellino to the world of Professional MMA. It will be an interesting sight when Matt crosses over into the cage but under very different circumstances when he faces Will Chope.

Leading the pack of wolves over at the land of the headhunters is Lenny “The Show Steeler” Wheeler. Lenny has been known as one accomplished MMA fighter in the South East Asia region today. This is his comeback fight and what better way to do it than to go against The Zen, Massimo Capusella, has gotten his start in MMA under the most prestigious of trainers, in the name of former PRIDE Middleweight Champion, The Axe Murderer, Wanderlei Silva. Will The Zen be disrupted by the flashy Show Steeler, or will he be the one that steals the show tonight?

Kaiwhare Kara-France, or as most call him, Kai isn’t exactly a stranger to the Malaysian MMA community. He previously defeated Malaysian Pro MMA fighter Sam Chan in the now defunct Legend FC at Hong Kong back in 2012. He will go against Mark “Mugen” Striegl, who currently holds a very impressive Pro MMA record of 12-1 with his only loss being a 3rd round submission back in 2013. MIMMA 2 Grand Finals will also be his first fight in the Bantamweight division. This legendary clash of two powerhouses is going to be remembered for years to come.

Rachael Short is more than meets the eye. She holds a professional position in a digital agency by day, writes for international online media on weekends, trains for battles at night and has been making waves in the local women’s Muay Thai scene. This will be her professional MMA debut and Zhen “The Iron Rose” Wei is there to welcome her to the scene. . Zhen Wei has been one of the first girls in Malaysia to pick up the sport of MMA during the hay days of Malaysian MMA. This will be a second fight for the BJJ blue belt PR executive against a Brit. Although the Iron Rose is considered on of the pioneers of WMMA in Malaysia, only skills can determine the winner.
