Dana White says Ronda Rousey underwent minor surgery, won’t return until December or January at earliest

Ronda Rousey may miss the entirety of the UFC’s 2016 schedule, with UFC President Dana White telling ESPN on Thursday that the former Women’s Bantamweight Champion underwent minor knee surgery this week.

According to White, Rousey’s now no longer an option for their Madison Square Garden debut in November, and will instead return – at the earliest – by December or New Year’s 2017.

Rousey was knocked out by Holly Holm last November in Australia at UFC 193, her first ever loss in the sport. She was originally targeted to return at UFC 200 in July before November turned into the targeted date.
