Ross Pearson Moving Up To 170 Pounds, Fighting Jorge Masvidal At UFC 201

On Wednesday, ESPN.com was first to report the news that former Ultimate Fighter winner Ross Pearson will be moving up to the UFC’s welterweight division (170 pounds) to compete against Jorge Masvidal. Pearson will be filling in for Siyar Bahadurzada, who was originally scheduled to fight Masvidal on the fight card in Atlanta. UFC 201 features Robbie Lawler vs. Tyron Woodley for the UFC Welterweight Championship in the pay-per-view main event. The show takes place on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from Atlanta, Georgia.
