Jon Jones Enters No Plea In Court, Travel Restrictions Lifted.

UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones has made his first public appearance after news broke he was involved in a hit-and-run incident over the weekend. Jones appeared in court in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jones was represented by his lawyer Vincent Ward, for his first appearance in a possible felony charge to determine whether there was probable cause to arrest him. Ward made no argument with the judge against probable cause, but did ask for the travel restriction to be lifted on a $2,500 bond Jones posted Monday.

The judge agreed and lifted the restriction, however, he also imposted the standard conditions for release, meaning he is free of custody but must refrain from alcohol and drugs, breaking state laws, and must remain in contact with his lawyer.

Jones is scheduled to face Anthony “Rumble” Johnson next month in Las Vegas, Nevada.
