Dana White Confirms Aldo Would Have Made $4M For UFC 189

Though it was assumed that when UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo dropped out of UFC 189 due to an injury, that he would be missing out on a big paycheck. But now Dana White has confirmed as much.

White appeared on The Rusillo Show on ESPN Radio and talked about the event and about Aldo’s unfortunate situation. Heres what he had to say:

“It’s crazy because I actually saw the video. He gets hit with a spinning-heel kick, which is crazy in itself that anyone is even throwing that at him two weeks before his fight. It is what it is. He stood to make a lot of money, a lot of money. If he could’ve fought, he would’ve fought. Millions of dollars. Yeah, he probably would’ve made close to four million.”
