Dana White Would “Love” To See Robbie Lawler vs. Nick Diaz Rematch

Current UFC welterweight champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler has only been knocked out once in his 35 professional MMA fights.

That knockout was over 10 years ago at UFC 47 to Nick Diaz, who ended the fight early with the KO.

Many fans and media members have been interested in a rematch since the fight but UFC officials have never commented on it until today when Dana White answered a question about it on Twitter:

@ChrisGaskill: “So if @nickdiaz209 wins would you want to see him call out @Ruthless_RL given their past history? #AskDana”

@danawhite: “@ChrisGaskill I would love to see Robbie and Nick fight again @nickdiaz209 @Ruthless_RL”

Nick Diaz is set to headline at UFC 183 opposite former UFC middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva on January 31 live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Meanwhile, UFC champion Robbie Lawler is expected to resume training in February, to prepare for his third against Johny Hendricks which is expected to take place later this spring.
