UFC 177: Dillashaw vs. Soto Official Results

UFC 177: Dillashaw vs. Soto airs tonight, August 30th, 2014 from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California.

A bantamweight championship rematch between current champion, T.J. Dillashaw and former champion, Renan Barao was expected to headline. However, the day of the weigh ins, Barao had to be admitted to the hospital as a result of his attempts to cut weight. Dillashaw will now face UFC newcomer Joe Soto in the main event. Soto’s opponent, Anthony Birchak, was removed from the card entirely.

The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. The official results begin at approximately 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) for the preliminary card and 10 p.m. ET for the main card.
