Tito Ortiz Returns To MMA

Tito Ortiz made his return to MMA last night during the first ever Bellator PPV event and won with an arm-triangle choking out Alexander Shlemenko the first round of their bout.

After the event, Ortiz spoke about his return during the post fight press conference:

“I just think God put me on this earth as a tool,” Ortiz said. “I’m not really a religious person, but I believe that being a tool, I show people that they can achieve things if you set your mind to things. I’ve done these things. And I just look at it, this fight, was already won before Shlemenko even called me out. This was supposed to happen. All this, that I’m living right now, is all pre-played out. I’m just living it the way it should be done. I’m just very thankful. I’m just living the American dream. I had nothing, and now, I pretty much have everything. When I go home and I take care of my kids and I train my ass off, I’m a dangerous person, and I’ll kick any one of these light heavyweight’s asses. ‘Rampage,’ that includes you, too.”
