Shogun vs. Manuwa Possible For UFC Fight Night 56

A light heavyweight have off pinning former UFC champion, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua against Jimi Manuwa is in talks as a possibility to headline the UFC Fight Night 56 event set to go down November 8th in Uberlandia, Brazil.

The news was revealed over during this weeks edition of UFC Tonight. It is thought both men have been open to the iddea.

Shogun had his first round knockout win over James Te Huna at UFC Fight Night 33. “Poster Boy” recently squandered a huge opportunity to make a run at the division title thanks to the aforementioned Gustafsson, the number one-ranked contender in waiting, who spoiled those plans rather effortlessly with a second round technical knockout in the main event of UFC Fight Night 37 about six months ago.
