Shogun Rua Not Retiring, Wants To Fight On Japan Card

After his last defeat, former UFC light-heavyweight champion Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua changed his mind about retirement and is going to keep fighting, at least for now.

News of his change of heart came during last night’s UFC Tonight on FOX Sports 1.

According to the broadcast, ‘Shogun’ wants to return to Japan, the place where he made a name for himself in the industry as a leading talent.

The UFC only has one card booked for Japan this year and it’s a free-for-tv card in the fall.
