Robert Drysdale Suspended For 1 Year Following Failed Drug Test

The Nevada State Athletic Commission gave a one-year suspension to UFC Light Heavyweight contender Robert Drysdale on Monday after he failed his post-fight drug test after his UFC debut in July.

Drysdale tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone following his first-round submission victory over Keith Berish at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale back on July 6th.

As a result of the suspension, which is retroactive to his July fight, Drysdale was fined 33-percent of his reported $16,000 fight purse ($5,280) and his win over Berish was overturned to a “no contest.”
