Rampage Jackson Possibly Returning To The UFC

UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson hasn’t been inside the cage since his three-round unanimous decision win over Muhammed Lawal at Bellator 120, a fight that everyone thought would lead to a title shot against Emanuel Newton.

Jackson contemplated retiring after losing one of his biggest supporters, but rumours are now circulating that the Memphis native may be going back with UFC, despite all the problems they had in their first go-round. Jackson left UFC in 2013 after three straight losses.

Bellator President Scott Coker was tracked down for an update on the situation, courtesy of veteran reporter Josh Gross, heres what was said:

“I asked Scott Coker if rumors Rampage is going back to UFC are bogus. He said he had no idea. Then he confirmed Page is under contract. Coker said, ‘Should get interesting.’ Leads me to believe something’s up even if Bellator says they have Rampage locked up.”
