Jon Fitch vs. Josh Burkman III To Be Co-Main Event At WSOF 11

A fight eight years coming is set to go down as the co-main event of the evening on the World Series of Fighting 11 card set for July 5th with former UFC welterweight title contender, Jon Fitch facing off against former TUF cast member, Josh Burkman.

The news was released by the promotion overnight. At this time it is thought verbal agreements are in place for both fighters.

Fitch first submitted Burkman in a UFC octagon at UFC Fight Night 4 in April 2006. Burkman then returned the favor in June 2013 with a stunning guillotine choke win in just 41 seconds at WSOF 3. Since then, Fitch is 1-0 in WSOF, while Burkman is 1-1. Burkman recently had a public dispute with WSOF, however, Abdel-Aziz said those issues are in the past.
