Cole Miller Replaced By Diego Brandao For Ireland Fight

Cole Miller has obtained torn ligaments in his thumb while training and is now in a full cast, meaning he’s unable to fight at the July 19th card in Dublin in the main event against Ireland’s own Conor McGregor.

He’s being replaced by Ultimate Fighter winner Diego Brandao, who took the fight on with only six weeks until he faces McGregor in Dublin. UFC officials announced the change on Tuesday afternoon.

Dana White said this in a statement regarding the matter:

“Diego Brandao is explosive and a well-rounded fighter. This should be a war,”

UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Brandao goes down from Ireland on July 19 with details about the broadcast still to be released.
