Brenneman Getting Another Shot Inside The Octagon

UFC lightweight Charlie Brenneman is getting one more shot in the octagon. Hes had a weak 0-2 in the ring since his return in January. Brenneman went 4-2 inside the octagon starting back in 2010 before dropping back to back losses to Erick Silva and Kyle Noke in 2012. He was then released from the UFC causing him to drop from welterweight to lightweight to get his career back on track. After doing well once released from the UFC he was given another chance, January of this year Brenneman got the call from the UFC once again and fought Beneil Dariush, who stopped Brenneman with a rear naked choke in the first round. The UFC then gave Brenneman Danny Castillo back in April at UFC 172, who knocked Brenneman out in the second round.

Charlie’s manager Mike Constantino spoke to sources regarding Brenneman getting another shot inside the Octagon saying:

“Charlie’s going to get another chance, Charlie will be back and will get another chance. We’re looking at the fall for him.”
