UFC on FUEL TV 10 – Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante Wants To Be The Champion in 12 Months

Former heavyweight, Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante gave his thoughts today on where he stands heading into his first bout inside the octagon early next month on the UFC on FUEL TV 10 card in Fortaleza, Brazil, also revealing he wants to be the champion within a twelve month period.

Cavalcante, speaking via Fighters Only Magazine said:

“I have no pressure whatsoever to be fighting in UFC. I am already a world champion and nobody can take it out of me. I am prepared and matured inside the cage. I come from a very big organization where I went through a lot of experiences. The level of training is very high because I train with the best of the world.”

“We’re approximately three weeks from the fight and I am almost on the weight already, so it is the least of my worries. I am not worried about making the weight, I will do it hands down and I am feeling very well physically. The car fuel makes its performance, so it is what Analítica does for me, it is my extra fuel that is making my training to reach the level that it is getting.”

“The goal is always to fight against whomever is on the top, so this is my objective. I won’t be there to be one more guy; I’m there to be the best. I hope I will make it quickly, in a year, to have the opportunity for the title shot.”
