UFC on FUEL 8: Wanderlei Silva vs. Brian Stann Official Results

UFC on FUEL 8: Silva vs. Stann airs tonight, March 3rd, 2013 from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The main event is a light heavyweight bout between perennial multidivisional contenders Wanderlei Silva and Brian Stann. The main card airs on FUEL TV following prelims on Facebook.

The co-main slot will see Mark Hunt trying to maintain his win streak in the UFC and increase it to a potential 4-o against Stefan Struve. Two lightweights at the proverbial crossroads in their careers will meet when Diego Sanchez meets Takanori Gomi. Former Bellator champion, Hector Lombard will take on Yushin Okami.

Diego Sanchez failed to make the 156 lb weight limit at the weigh ins, weighing at 158 lbs. Sanchez was fined 20 percent of his earnings and the bout was contested at a catchweight of 158 lb.

The official results begin at approximately 7:40 p.m. ET (4:40 p.m. PT) for the preliminary card and 10 p.m. ET for the main card.
