UFC 166: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos III Official Results

UFC 166: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos III airs tonight, October 19th, 2013, from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The main event is a UFC heavyweight championship rematch trilogy between the current champion, Cain Velasquez and top contender, Junior dos Santos. The two have split their two previous encounters with Dos Santos winning the first bout via first round knockout at UFC on FOX: Velasquez vs. dos Santos and then Velasquez winning the rematch via unanimous decision at UFC 155. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and Facebook.

The co-main event features Strikeforce import, Daniel Cormier taking on TUF 10 winner, Roy Nelson. Rounding out the main card, one of the greatest lightweight fighters in the world, Gilbert Melendez takes on TUF 1 original, Diego Sanchez, Gabriel Gonzaga faces Shawn Jordan and John Dodson takes on Darrell Montague.

The official results begin at approximately 6:15 p.m. ET (3:15 p.m. PT) for the preliminary card and 10 p.m. ET for the main card.
