UFC 157: “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey vs. Liz “Girl-Rilla” Carmouche Official Results

UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche airs tonight, February 23rd, 2013 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The headliner between Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche will be the first-ever women’s fight in UFC history. The two will compete for the newly created 135-pound bantamweight championship. Carmouche is the first openly gay fighter to be signed to the UFC, and landed the headlining fight opposite Rousey after a successful social media campaign to persuade UFC president, Dana White.

The co-main event features light heavyweight contenders, Lyoto Machida and Dan Henderson with a shot at Jon Jones’ title up for grabs. Former WEC champ, Urijah Faber takes on veteran Ivan Menjivar. Ultimate Fighter winner, Court McGee faces Josh Neer and TUF original, Josh Koscheck welcomes hard-hitting Robbie Lawler back to the octagon after a multi-year absence.

Manny Gamburyan was originally scheduled to fight Chad Mendes, but after it was announced that he could not compete due to injury, former Strikeforce welterweights Nah-Shon Burrell and Yuri Villefort was added. The official results begin at approximately 6:35 p.m. ET (3:35 p.m. PT) for the preliminary card and 10 p.m. ET for the main card on PPV.
