Thales Leites Re-Signed By The UFC, May Compete Again On August 3rd in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Former UFC middleweight , Thales Leites has been re-signed by the UFC this week after pulling off a five-fight winning streak on the local circuit, he is likely return to the octagon at UFC 163 on August 3rd in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This news via SporTV after speaking to sources close to the situation. No opponent was mentioned though he is expected to find out in the next few weeks.

Leites holds an overall record of 20-4 including thirteen wins by way of submission. Among the notable names he’s beaten since being cut by the UFC are the likes of Matt Horwich, Jesse Taylor, and Jeremy Horn.
