Renan Barao Planning On Returning To The Octagon Stronger Than Ever Before

UFC bantamweight champion, Renan Barao has spoken for the first time since being forced to pull out of his UFC 161 bout with Eddie Wineland due to an injury, the fight was set for next month in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with the Brazilian vowing to return to the octagon stronger then he has ever been.

Barao, speaking via his Twitter said:

“That’s it, guys. Unfortunately I am out of UFC 161. But my injury is not as severe, and soon I’ll be back. I would like to thank everyone [for their] support. Thank you for [the] caring and concern. I’ll come back even stronger. It’s a pity, because I’m dying to train. [It] is a test of my will, but it is better to recover fully as soon as possible.”
