Megumi Fujii To Have Her Last Fight Against Jessica Aguilar At VTJ

After a long illustrious career, Megumi “Mega Megu” Fujii will be stepping into the octagon for the last time at VTJ 3rd. It has just been announced by Vale Tudo Japan (VTJ) that her opponent will be American Top Team’s Jessica Aguilar.

This will be Fujii’s 29th match up in her career. Fujii is truly one of the pioneers in women’s MMA. Fujii has competed in Shooto and DREAM, as well as Bellator. Fujii was at one point considered one of the best 115lbs female fighters, if not the best, in the world. She has only lost twice in her career. Her opponent Jessica Aguilar is no push over either. Competing out of American Top Team, Aguilar is a veteran of the sport and has been in it for 7 years. Since her debut in 2006, Aguilar has gone 15-4 in the sport and has actively competed in Bellator.
