Josh Barnett Returning To The Octagon After Signing Multi-Fight Contract

UFC Heavyweight, Josh Barnett recently signed a multi-fight contract with the Las Vegas based promotion after months of talk, giving him the chance to round out his career against the best fighters the mixed martial arts world has to offer.

The 35-year-old heavyweight has agreed on contract terms for his return. USA Today originally reported the news on Tuesday night. There is no word on when, where or against who he’ll return.

Barnett reached the final of the Strikeforce heavyweight grand-prix with victories over Brett Rogers and Sergei Kharitonov. He lost the finale fight to Daniel Cormier via unanimous decision. He recently defeated Nandor Guelmino via arm-triangle choke in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
