Dana White Wants Weidman vs. Silva Rematch On Dec. 28th In Vegas

It was revealed tonight that UFC President, Dana White is trying to talk all parties into putting the middleweight title rematch between Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva on the UFC 168 card set for December 28th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

LA Times’ Lance Pugmire tweeted:

“@danawhite just told me he’s so amped about @SpiderAnderson @ChrisWeidmanUFC rematch, he’s thinking of moving it to Dec. 28. #UFC”

This would mean that women’s bantamweight title clash between champion Ronda Rousey and number one contender Miesha Tate would be moved back possibly as far as the Super Bowl weekend card, rumoured to be going down in New Jersey.
