Melvin Guillard vs. Fabricio Camoes and Gleison Tibau vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 148 in Las Vegas, NV on July 7th

Two lightweight bouts have been announced for UFC 148, as heavy hitter, Melvin Guillard faces Brazilian submission specialist, Fabricio Camoes and another Brazilian, Gleison Tibau takes on Russian prodigy, Khabib Nurmagomedov, both set for UFC 148 in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 7th, 2012.

Guillard was in line for a title shot until back-to-back losses to Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller put him back at square one. Prior to that he strung together a five-fight winning streak, defeating Ronys Torres, Waylon Lowe, Jeremy Stephens, Evan Dunham, and Shane Roller. Camoes was released from the UFC with a record of 0-1-1, following a defeat to Kurt Pellegrino back in 2010 but earned his way back with two straight wins over Steve Lopez and TUF 8 winner, Efrain Escudero. He defeated Tommy Hayden at UFC on FX in January to pick up his very first octagon win.

Tibau is riding a three-fight winning streak, defeating Kurt Pellegrino and Rafael dos Anjos via decision and Rafaello Oliveira via submission. Nurmagomedov is 17-0 and is one of the top prospects Europe has to offer. He made his octagon debut at UFC on FX card in January, picking up a third round submission win over Kamal Shalorus.
