Josh Koscheck Accepts Nick Diaz’ Challenge: “Don’t be scared homie.”

UFC welterweight contenders, Josh Koscheck and Nick Diaz could square off inside the octagon on Super Bowl weekend this February after a challenge was offered by the Stockton native and eagerly accepted by the TUF 1 original.

Kos, speaking via his Twitter account, said:

“I’d like to fight before February, but Cesar (Gracie) is calling for me (to) fight (Nick) Diaz in February Super Bowl weekend. What you guys think? I am down! Don’t be scared homie.”

Koscheck has defeated the likes of Matt Hughes, Paul “Semtex” Daley and Diego Sanchez. He recently lost a close decision to Johny Hendricks sliding him back down the welterweight ladder.

Diaz was last seen in action in February where he lost to Carlos Condit as the two men competed for the interim welterweight title. After the fight Diaz was put on suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission after testing positive for marijuana.
