Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum Agree to Coach TUF Brazil 2

Former UFC and PRIDE heavyweight champion, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and the man that first defeated Fedor, Fabricio Werdum have agreed to be coaches on the upcoming second season of “The Ultimate Fighter Brazil”.

SportTV first reported the coaches, though UFC officials have made no formal announcement, the report states contracts haven’t been signed, but verbal agreements are in place on both sides.

Following “TUF: Brazil 2,” Nogueira and Werdum will square off as usual at the end of the season. Which marks a rematch between the two, Nogueira handed Werdum a decision loss at Pride Critical Countdown Absolute in July of 2006 in the quarterfinal round of the open-weight grand prix.

“TUF: Brazil” was the first-ever international edition of the long-running reality series. The show featured Wanderlei Silva and Vitor Belfort as coaches and debuted in March and aired on Globo in Brazil. UFC.com and FUEL TV carried it in the U.S.
