Antonio “Big Foot” Silva Could Make His UFC Debut vs. Cain Velasquez in April

Former EliteXC heavyweight champion, Antonio “Big Foot” Silva could make his octagon debut this April, when he faces former UFC champion, Cain Velasquez.

Alex Davis, manager of “Big Foot” said:

“We are almost certain to Bigfoot’s debut in April, but we can not confirm the opponent. Cain Velasquez is only in the list. Fight with Bigfoot whoever comes. You can put Overeem, Lesnar, Velasquez, who is. It just does not fight against Minotauro and Gypsy.”

Silva hasn’t been seen since he lost his Strikeforce heavyweight grand-prix semi-final fight via first round TKO to Daniel Cormier. Prior to that he was on a three fight winning streak including a second round TKO win over former kingpin Fedor Emelianenko.

Velasquez is also coming off a loss when he lost his UFC heavyweight strap via first round TKO to Junior dos Santos on the first ever FOX show. Prior to that he defeated Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Brock Lesnar to win that very same heavyweight title.
