Anthony Perosh Out of UFC on FX 6 on December 15th Due to Horrific Broken Toe

UFC light heavyweight, Anthony Perosh has been forced to withdraw from his UFC on FX 6 bout with the heavy hitting, Joey Beltran after suffering a horrific broken toe in training. UFC light heavyweight prospect, Igor Pokrajac will step up to replace Perosh against Beltran on December 15th in Broadbeach, Australia.

Australian journalist Adam Ireland tweeted, along with the picture above, that Perosh suffered a severe broken toe when it got stuck between two mats during training. He already had surgery by the time the report broke, and was scheduled to visit the surgeon for a follow-up with “an aim to be training again in four to six weeks.”

Perosh, a native of Australia, had put together a three-fight winning streak with victories over Tom Blackledge, Cyrille Diabate and Nick Penner. He lost his last fight when he ran into Ryan Jimmo with one of the quickest knock outs in the history of the sport at UFC 149.
