UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort Official Results

UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort goes live tonight, September 22nd, 2012 from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The main event features UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones defending his strap against former champion Vitor Belfort.

The co-main event, originally serving as the evening’s main event, is set to feature Joseph Benavidez taking on Demetrious Johnson in the finals of a four man tournament to determine the inaugural UFC flyweight champion. Benavidez earned the right to fight for the championship by defeating Yasuhiro Urushitani by second round TKO; whereas Johnson defeated Ian McCall by unanimous decision in a rematch of their original semifinal fight which ended, with controversy, in a draw.

In middleweight action, Brian Stann will look to silence Michael Bisping and his dreams of a title shot, while Matt Hamill ends his brief retirement to try to pick up a win over octagon newcomer, Roger Hollett. The official results begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. ET (3:45 p.m. PT) for the preliminary card and 10 p.m. ET for the main card.
