Jason “Mayhem” Miller Charged in Naked Church Incident in Orange County

Mixed martial arts fighter and reality TV show host Jason “Mayhem” Miller has been charged with misdemeanor vandalism after he allegedly broke into an Orange County church last month and was found sleeping naked on a couch. Miller, 31, is accused of causing more than $400 in damage at Mission Viejo’s Mission Hills Church, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in Orange County Superior Court. If convicted, he faces up to one year in jail, said Farrah Emami, a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office.

The pastor of the church called authorities the morning of Aug. 13 when he discovered a break-in, Orange County sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino said. The first floor was ransacked — broken pictures and books were strewn across the floor — and the walls had been spray-painted, Amormino said. A fire extinguisher had been set off, leaving a trail of residue that led deputies to the second floor.

That’s where they found Miller, Amormino said, who was naked and “dozing” on a couch. “When they asked him his name, he kept saying, ‘Mayhem, Mayhem,'” Amormino said. “They didn’t know who he was — they thought he was being uncooperative.”
Miller was evaluated at the Orange County Jail’s hospital ward after he was arrested but “deemed OK for booking,” Amormino said.
