Chris Weidman vs. Tim Boetsch at UFC 155 in Las Vegas, Nevada on Dec. 29th

In what could determine the next contender for the middleweight crown, two of the divisions best will meet at UFC 155 in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 29th, as Chris Weidman takes on Tim Boetsch most likely for the co-main event of the evening. UFC executives have made it official, meaning official bout agreements have most likely been issued.

Weidman, currently undefeated with a professional record of 9-0, is coming off two ultra-impressive wins this year alone, over highly ranked powerhouse, Mark Munoz and former middleweight title contender, Demian Maia.

Boetsch has won eight of his last nine fights and has been on a role since dropping to the 185 pound division. Victories over Kendall Grove, Nick Ring, former UFC middleweight title contender, Yushin Okami and former Bellator middleweight champion, Hector Lombard has put him right in the mix for a shot at the champ.
