Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman Official Salaries, Injuries, & Medical Suspensions

The California State Athletic Commission released the salary list for this past weekend’s Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman event in San Diego, California, with former middleweight champion, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza topping the list with $94,000.

Second on the list is considered the number one woman on fighter on the planet and bantamweight champion of course, Ronda Rousey, she earned $40,000 and was closely followed by her former rival, Miesha Tate with $38,000.

Strikeforce middleweight contender, Ovince St. Preux and women’s bantamweight prospect, Julie Kedzie have picked up six month medical suspensions from the California State Athletic Commission. Losing main card fighters, Derek Brunson, Lumumba Sayers and T.J. Cook also made the list, as did former women’s bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate.

Germaine de Randamie: $15,000 (includes $7,500 win bonus)
def. Hiroko Yamanaka: $31,000

Bobby Green: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus)
def. Matt Ricehouse: $5,000

Derek Brunson: Suspended 45 days (no contact for 30 days) for knockout

Lumumba Sayers: Suspended 60 days (no contact for 60 days) for cuts on right eye and left scalp

T.J. Cook: Suspended 45 days (no contact for 30 days) for knockout and indefinitely or until cleared by doctor for possible neck fracture

Ovince St. Preux: Suspended 180 days (no contact for 180 days) for painful left thumb injury

Julie Kedzie: Suspended 180 days (no contact for 180 days) or until cleared by doctor for possible left shoulder rotator cuff injury.

Miesha Tate: Suspended 45 days (no contact for 30 days) for hard bout.

Keith Berry: Suspended 45 days (no contact for 30 days) for TKO and indefinitely or until cleared by doctor for hyper extension to left knee.

Hiroko Yamanaka: Suspended for 60 days (no contact for 60 days) for cut to right interior eye.
