Soa Palelei Out, Andrei Arlovski vs. Tim Sylvia IV at ONE FC 5 on August 31st

Sao “The Hulk” Palelei will have to find another path into the UFC, after it was revealed that the ONE FC organization won’t allow him to fight one time under their banner but instead wants the massive heavyweight to sign a five fight deal, something he won’t be doing by the looks of a new major announcement. Former UFC heavyweight champions turned rivals, Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia will now go head to head for a fourth time at ONE FC 5 in Quezon City, Philippines on August 31st, 2012.

Soa Palelei, posting via his Facebook account, said:

“Guys unfortunately “The Hulk” will no longer face Andrei Arlovski in OneFC on the 31st of August because OneFC wont let me fight unless i sign a 5 fight deal.”

Arlovski, who inside hasn’t competed in the octagon since 2008, has recently put his career back on track, picking up back-to-back stoppage wins over Ray Lopez and Travis Fulton.

Sylvia has won seven of his last eight fights and has recently made an appeal to fans for a return to the UFC. A twelve second TKO win over Randy Smith in his last bout was thought to be the pathway but it seems he may need to impress the higher-ups of Zuffa a little more.
