Fedor Emelianenko: It’s not a fact that I will retire on June 21st. I never said that.

Rumors of the formerly ranked number one fighter on the planet, Fedor Emelianenko retiring from the sport following his upcoming bout against former three-time UFC heavyweight title contender, Pedro Rizzo are not true.

In fact, “The Last Emperor” hasn’t decided anything about his future before going in front of a hometown crowd on June 21st, 2012 at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Fedor, speaking via LowKick.com, said:

“It’s not a fact that I will retire on June 21st. We’ll see after the fight. I don’t know who came to conclusion that I will coach young fighters. Everyone talks about my retirement, and that I will train young fighters. I never said that.”
