Cesar Gracie on Nick Diaz: “I’m not going to let that guy quit. I just don’t see that happening.”

Cesar Gracie, the coach and manager of former Strikeforce welterweight champion, Nick Diaz, has made it quite clear that he is not going to let one of his most successful fighters walk away from mixed martial arts despite comments made by the man from Stockton himself, adding that Diaz is too good and too important to the sport to just let him walk away.

Gracie, speaking via Sherdog.com, said:

“He’s sick of the politics, the whole marijuana thing, the judges. It’s kind of a weird thing, but let’s face it: I’m not going to let that guy quit. I just don’t see that happening. He’s too good and he’s too important in this sport, I think. If it’s up to me, there’s no way that’s going to happen.”
