Willamy Freire out, Antonio McKee vs. Shinya Aoki at DREAM 17 on May 29th

DREAM champion, Shinya Aoki will not be facing Willamy Freire on the DREAM 17 card on May 29th in Saitama, Japan, but will now face MFC champion, Antonio McKee. Sources close to the situation revealed that verbal agreements are in place on both sides.

Aoki will look to help fans forget about his disgraceful brutal knock out loss to Yuichiro Nagashima at Dynamite!! 2010. He has since competed but in the Strikeforce cage not the DREAM ring, defeating Lyle Beerbohm via first round rear-naked choke earlier this month.

McKee hasn’t fought since losing his UFC debut back in January to Jacob Volkman on New Year’s Day. He was due to defend his MFC title against Drew Fickett in February but an injury forced him to pull out of that fight.
