UFC to hold first ever Swedish event in Malmo on November 5th

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will next break out in Sweden on November 5th for a ‘Fight Night’ level card, with the city of Malmo playing host to the event.

FightPlay.tv reported the news earlier today, adding other cities such as Stockholm and Gothenburg were under consideration but in the end Malmo was chosen. The report cites sources at MMA clothing giant TapouT.

The card will most likely feature hometown favorite, Alexander Gustaffson who recently took home an impressive win inside the octagon and could see the likes of David Bielkheden and Per Eklund get a recall after failing to impress during their first runs with the Las Vegas based promotion.
