UFC 133: Evans vs. Ortiz II Official Injuries and Medical Suspensions

UFC middleweight, Yoshihiro Akiyama picked up the largest medical suspension from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission at UFC 133 as where he will not see the inside of the octagon for a minimum of 60 days following his knockout loss to Vitor Belfort this past weekend. Former light heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz will be out of action for 45 days for precautionary reasons, as will welterweight veteran, Dennis Hallman.

The offical injuries and medical suspensions:

Tito Ortiz: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
Yoshihiro Akiyama: Suspended 60 days due to possible head injuries; must have a neurological exam before returning to competition
Dennis Hallman: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
Mike Pyle: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
Matt Hamill: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
Rafael Natal: Suspended indefinitely due to a right-hand injury; must have hand cleared by a physician before returning to competition
Paul Bradley: Suspended for 30 days for a left-knee injury; must be cleared by a physician before returning to competition
